Georgia answered the Auburn upset in a big way. The No. 3 Bulldogs beat Florida 27-8 on Saturday in Atlanta, and every SEC team now has at least one loss.

“Everybody's practicing less, but everybody's getting injured more. It doesn't make sense.”

Georgia coach Kirby Smart

Asked about the injuries sidelining SEC players, Smart said a lot of players "make more than I made until I was 40."

  • Smart's theories: 105 scholarships and revenue sharing
  • He says both limit roster depth
  • His comparison: 2021 and 2022 teams were more physical
  • Georgia's last loss: unranked Auburn

Meanwhile, only three unbeaten teams remain in college football.

3undefeated teams left in college football

Miami is No. 1, Utah is No. 5 and UCLA is No. 7. None has played a team currently ranked in the top 18 of the US LBM Coaches Poll.
