About this event
Friday, Nov 13 at 7 pm. The Department of Physics and Astronomy and the Bradley Observatory welcome Akshat Chaturvedi of GSU with a lecture titled, "Spinning Out of Control: The Fastest Stars in the Universe". Chaturvedi will discuss why massive stars spin so fast, all the different kinds of spinning stars, and the interesting phenomena that spin can induce.
Join us to hear an exciting astronomy talk, watch the stars drift overhead in our state-of-the-art planetarium during our sky show, and, weather permitting, view the real stars and planets through our telescopes!
