PARTNER EVENT
Come to the HTDJ workday to meet new people, learn about plants and wildlife, and have a blast! Meet at the kiosk, 1343 Pasadena Ave., Atlanta, 30306 for introductions and the safety talk before heading out for a beautiful day in the park.
Workers of all ages and experience levels welcome. If you have favorite gardening gloves or tools, bring them with you, or just borrow some of ours. We’ll see you Saturday!
Invasive removal and habitat restoration work continues at Herbert Taylor Park & Daniel Johnson Park in midtown Atlanta (Morningside near Emory) with tasks for all ages and levels of experience. Wear closed toe shoes, long sleeves and pants as there is poison ivy. Dress for the weather/uneven terrain, bring your own water, bug spray, and sunscreen. Learn to use a weed wrench and how to properly control invasive species while discovering native plants. Contact friendsofhtdj@gmail.com with questions.
Listed by South Fork Conservancy (Squarespace), gathered by the Atlanta events calendar.
